Independent College Application Navigators (ICAN) is a college guidance consulting group. The mission of ICAN is to provide each student with the necessary tools to navigate the college search and application process. Our goal is to empower students by providing resources, information, and guidance so that they can ultimately find the right college fit.
Anne Murphy is one of several independent consultants with ICAN and does business as Anne Murphy Educational Consulting. She earned her Certificate in College Counseling from UCSD with an emphasis in essay coaching and standardized testing information. She has a B.A. in History from UCLA. Anne primarily works one on one with students with all aspects of the college application process from course planning to writing the personal statements. She serves North San Diego County and the greater San Diego area.
Anne Murphy is a member of the National Association of College Admission Counseling (NACAC), the Western Association of College Admissions Counselors (WACAC), and the Higher Educational Consultants Association and subscribes to the HECA standards of good practice. hecaonline.org
